AMAZONAS

Amazonas is a stunning region in northern Peru, known for its lush cloud forests, deep canyons, and rich biodiversity. This diverse geography makes it home to a wide variety of flora and fauna.

The region is famous for the ancient pre-Inca ruins of Kuélap, often referred to as the “Machu Picchu of the north,” as well as impressive waterfalls such as Gocta Falls, one of the tallest in the world. Amazonas is also a center of cultural heritage, where local indigenous communities preserve age-old traditions.
